The countdown begins...

I have 7 days from today until I am on a plane to Florida. I can't express how pleased this makes me. I have 8 whole days away from a job that I hate and a house that feels like it constantly needs to be tidied. We are off on a "family" vacation. My in laws have footed the bill (with the exception of air fare) for a week long trip to Disneyworld and Cape Canveral. I have never been to either. We are staying at Disney's Carribbean Resort. Does anyone have any suggestions of a "not to be missed" attraction?? Talk to you all later!

Certainly the Kennedy Space Centre

is amazing. The hall with the Saturn 5 in it that was the type of rocket that powered he moon landings is not to be missed.

At Universal the Jaws ride :-http://themeparks.universalstudios.com/orlando/website/usf_attraction_jaws.html
is a bit long in the tooth now but everyone knows it and you almost feel that you have to do it.
The Terminator :-

was great if you are into that sort of thing, my boys loved it (well so did I actually!).

At Disney the safari experience:-

whilst not a patch on the real thing and very corny is probably worth doing.
But Seaworld http://www.seaworld.com/seaworld/fla/default.aspx
was my favourite!
So have a great time!

Hey girl!
It's been like 7 years since I've been to Disney(and I only live 2 hours away-sad really), but pretty much everything is good. Even the old Haunted Mansion is goofy but fun. It's a small world is the same way. Silly but memorable. If you go on It's a Small World you will have to check out the hair on this guys leg that is hanging down from the bridge. You float under him and his leg hair looks so freakin' real, it's funny.
Anyway, have a great time. The weather is pretty nice right now, not tooooo hot. :)
Take care,
Wanda
